We built ShareThePower with security first. Here's exactly what we do and don't do.

What We CAN'T Access

Your Personal Files

Photos, documents, downloads, browsing history - we have zero access to any of it. Our app runs in a completely isolated sandbox.

Your Passwords

We can't see your saved passwords, login credentials, or any sensitive data stored on your computer.

Your Screen

We can't take screenshots, record your screen, or see what you're doing on your computer.

What We DO Use

Only your GPU's spare computing power. That's it. We use a small portion of your graphics card to run calculations - the same thing that happens when you play a video game.

How It Works (Simply)

1. Sandboxed Environment: Our app runs in complete isolation from your personal files
2. Encrypted Connection: All data between your computer and our servers is encrypted
3. No Data Storage: We don't store any personal data from your computer
4. Open Processes: You can see exactly what's running at any time in your task manager

Common Questions

Can you see my files? No. Technically impossible. Our app runs in a sandbox that has no access to your file system.

Can you install anything? No. We can only run calculations on your GPU. We can't install software, access your browser, or modify anything.

Is this like a virus? The opposite. Viruses try to hide. We're completely transparent. You can see us in your task manager, control us with a toggle, and uninstall us anytime.

What about my internet? We use minimal bandwidth - less than streaming music. Your internet speed won't be affected.

Bottom line: We only use your GPU cycles. Everything else on your computer is completely off-limits to us.
